The EWPA ‘Yellow Card’ is a Nationally Recognised industry training program mapped to the unit of competency RIIHAN301D – Operate Elevated Work Platform, developed by the EWPA in consultation with members and industry. The intention of this course is to assist operators, employers, equipment owners and manufacturers to comply with the Health and Safety Regulations.
Star Training and Assessing is a leading provider of EWPA Yellow Card training and assessment to both individuals and businesses. The Yellow Card provides evidence that the operators of specific types of EWPs have been trained in the safe use of that type of work platform.
Participants may complete singular or multiple machine classes according to the type of work they will be undertaking.
Machine classes available with Star Training and Assessing include:
Scissor Lift (SL), Self- Propelled Boom Lift (BL) and Vertical Lift (VL).
Upon successful completion of the course, participant’s record of training is processed by the Elevated Work Platform Association (EWPA) and thereafter they will receive in the mail their EWP Operator card.
Participants will also be issued with a Statement of Attainment from Star Training and Assessing for the unit RIIHAN301D – Operate Elevated Work Platform.
