Earthmoving Training / Assessing

It is crucial to ensure operators are deemed competent and adequately trained to use all plant and equipment provided on the job. Star Training & Assessing is accredited to train and assess in the use of all load-shifting and non-load shifting plant.

All our earthmoving competencies are part of the latest nationally accredited “RII” Training Package. All units of competency under this Training Package are nationally recognised which means the card/s and or Statements of Attainment can be used anywhere throughout Australia.

• Plant Risk Assessments on all machines
• Test and Repair Training and/or Repairs & Maintenance
• VOC (Verification of Competency)
• RIIVEH304D Conduct Tip Truck Operations
• RIISAM204D Operate Small Plant & Equipment (i.e. quick cut saw, floor saw, ride on mower, dingo)
• RIIHAN308E Load & Unload Plant

Delivery Method

Face to face delivery. The above courses can be delivered on-site at your workplace, or at a suitable training venue. To obtain accreditation in these courses, a practical as well as a written assessment will be given to participants.

Pre-requisites / Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisites, however participants must be able to converse and comprehend basic English.

Outcome

A statement of attainment and photo ID card will be given upon successful completion of the training and/or assessment.

Location

Our trainers can train, assess and VOC your personnel at your own site, or alternatively a suitable training venue can be organised.

Duration

Duration depends on the experience of the participants. One-on-one, as well as group training and/or assessment is available.
