Enter and Work in Confined Spaces RIIWHS202D

A confined space maybe an area of restricted entry and exit, may have an atmosphere which contains potentially harmful levels of a contaminant, unsafe levels of oxygen or may cause engulfment.

This nationally recognised unit covers entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up.

After successfully completing both assessments, a statement of attainment and card will be issued.

• Metalliferous Mining

Pre-requisites

There are no prerequisites for this unit, however participants must have basic English skills.

Delivery Methods

Face to face delivery. To obtain accreditation in this course a practical and written assessment will be given to participants.

Outcome

After successfully completing both assessments, a statement of attainment and photo ID card will be issued.

Location

On-site at your workplace, or alternatively a suitable training venue can be organised.
