The only approved way to deliver a construction induction in Victoria is by attending a face to face training course. Then to obtain accreditation in construction white card training Victoria, a practical and written assessment will be given to participants to complete.
Participants must be able to converse and comprehend basic English.

Participants will be unable to sit the course without providing an acceptable form of PHOTO IDENTIFICATION.

On completion of the course, participants will receive an electronic copy of a Statement of Attainment. The construction white card will then be sent out by Worksafe Victoria, which you should receive within approximately 3 weeks.

Before commencing work on any construction site in Australia, workers are required to hold evidence of general construction induction under the applicable occupational health and safety laws of each state or territory jurisdiction.

Formally known in Victoria as the “Red Card”, this nationally recognised unit has been replaced by the “Construction Induction Card” or the “White Card”.
