Non-Practitioner courses are available for individuals who do not directly undertake any traffic controller or traffic management implementer roles, however are required to understand the concepts of these tasks. These workers need an understanding of traffic management but do not perform traditional traffic management duties, which could include Supervisors or Managers, OHS Representatives, office administration staff etc.
The training is based on the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
These courses will involve the individual attending the initial training days for the specified program and no post-course placement or practical assessment will be required.
At the successful completion of the training course, students will receive a Statement of Completion which will read – Student name “has successfully completed the Non-Practitioner Training for Specified Training Program. This statement provides the individual with non-practitioner status which excludes the individual from performing the function of a Traffic Controller/Traffic Management Implementer.”
Please refer to the course information for the specific program on our website for more information, keeping in mind to exclude any pre-requisite and post-course requirements for non-practitioner status.
Currently Star Training and Assessing can run courses for any individual or groups wishing to enrol in TC1/TMI1 Combined Non-Practitioner.
Group courses are available for companies who wish to enrol in TC2/TMI2 Combined Non-Practitioner and/or TMI3 Non-Practitioner.
