With construction set to boom in 2018, now is the time to make sure you are construction job ready.
3 things you can do to get you construction job ready:
Be up to date with industry requirements
A white card must be obtained through a RTO (Registered Training Organisation).
The course can be sat before you have been guaranteed a job in the construction industry and the card does not expire as long as you don’t have more than a 2 year break from working in the construction industry, making it a valuable investment if you are considering construction jobs.
Strengthen your skills
For example you could obtain your Working at Heights, Confined Space or Elevated Platform tickets, as well as many others, all of which are in demand for construction roles.
Use your contacts
Star Training & Assessing are a Registered Training Organisation offers a range of construction industry-focused courses to individuals throughout Australia. For more information and to get ready for the construction boom, contact your local office.
