The Star Training & Assessing forklift truck training course content includes covering relevant Australian industry standards, legislation and regulations as well as hazard identification and prevention. Instructions will be given on how to conduct routine forklift checks, planning workloads for forklifts, using forklift attachments and overall safe forklift operation procedures.
The duration and the overall content of each forklift driving course varies but they are all suitable for experienced and new operators, as well as people with no forklift operating experience. Generally forklift training courses may take from one to two days, depending on the participant’s prior experience.
You will be given a written “Statement of Attainment” with your achieved training unit when you successfully complete a forklift truck training course with Star Training & Assessing. You will also receive a “Notice of Assessment” which will allow you to operate a forklift immediately until you receive your ‘High Risk Licence’. To receive your full licence from the appropriate state authority you have to submit your application to “Worksafe” within 60 days of completing the course, but the friendly staff at Star Training & Assessing will even help you organise that!
